eLMS Assistant

The eLMS Assistant, powered by Sophia AI, is now available on all eLMS platforms, offering AI-driven support for platform and subject-specific queries. Admins and teachers can customize its settings, and it's accessible to all users.

What's Changing?

The eLMS Assistant is now accessible across all eLMS instances. This functionality facilitates the integration of an AI-driven support and learning assistant, powered by Sophia AI, into the eLMS platform for all users. This includes:

  • Providing platform support and guidance.
  • Offering assistance with courses and subjects.
  • Administering instructions and functions.

Getting started

  • Admins: This feature will be activated by default and can be tailored through block plugin configuration settings.
  • Teachers: Subject-specific assistants can be incorporated into courses and lessons by adjusting the assistant block plugin configuration.
  • Users: If activated, the eLMS Assistant will be accessible within the block drawer on any page. By default, assistants can address platform-related inquiries. When configured to be subject-specific, assistants can handle both platform and subject-related queries. Subject specificity can be recognized through the assistant's welcome message. Example: "You can ask me any English-related question!"
